The show has been rebroadcast on KRUA 88.1 FM in Anchorage and other radio stations from New York to Hawaii from time to time. Music of India with Dr. Nag Rao is broadcast LIVE in FM-Stereo to hundreds of loyal listeners week after week. Dr. Rao presents the music in perspective of India's Land and its People. He makes every attempt to link the music with the Indian way of life: its religions, mythology, festivals & folklore, beliefs, and current events. Dr. Rao has been following the Indian film scene (Bollywood) both as a film and music critic and as a broadcaster for nearly half a century and has hundreds of movie trivia at his fingertips.

Dr. Nag Rao has enriched the show and offered variety from his priceless private collection of over 2000 CDs and 7000 pre-recorded cassettes in every Indian language. The show's format has been "live", improvised, and interactive, occasionally with guests appearing on the show to bring in their expertise and interest. The show has encouraged "local" talent from within the U.S. by broadcasting Indian musical compositions created and produced within the U.S.
